Graduated in Saxophone with the highest honors under the guidance of M. Ferraguti, and in Clarinet with M. Fornasari, I participated in the European training course for orchestra professors called SUONI in Piacenza. I furthered my studies with the Parma Trio and the maestros F. Fusi, F. Mondelci, M. Marzi, and M. Gerboni.

I have participated in shows such as RE NUDO by L. Lombardi with Elio, CANZONETTE VAGABONDE with M. Crippa, OST with Aterballetto by M. Bigonzetti, SORELLE D’ITALIA with V. Pivetti and I. Danieli, IRONIKONTEMPORANEO with F. Antoni, NINO ROTA L’AMICO MAGICO with Avion Travel, FRED DAL WISKY FACILE with F. Campi, LA DOLCE VITA with the Italian Cinema Orchestra, QUARTETTO by choreographer F. Nappa, and ROSSINI COMPILATION with P. Cevoli.

I won first place in the audition at the ARENA di VERONA and collaborated with major Italian orchestras, conducted by R. Muti, E. Morricone, N. Piovani, A. Lombard, W. Marshall, D. Oren, J. Webb, Y. Termikanov, W. Barkymer, J. Adams, F. Cramer, K. Farrell, P. Walsh, E. Mazzola, V. Parisi, J. Axelrod, D. Bernardelli, P. Steinberg, F. Lanzillotta, M. Poschner, and A. Manacorda, among others.

As a winner of numerous competitions, I performed as a soloist with the orchestras INTERNAZIONALE d’ITALIA, CITTA’ di SAN PIETROBURGO, Filarmonica A. TOSCANINI, and FANCELLI di Terni. I am an integral part of SAXOFOLLIA, with which I received the first prize in eight international competitions. I have recorded albums such as OMAGGIO a J. FRANCAIX, LIKE STRINGS, ON THE REEDS, VISSI D’ARTE, INTO THE TRUMPET, ESTATE, VOICE ON AIR, SIEGFRIED IDYL, INCONTRI, PORTRAITS, and represented Italy at the XIV WORLD SAX CONGRESS in Ljubljana. I have performed with saxophonists E. Rousseau, N. Zimin, A. Paulsson, F. Mondelci, M. Marzi, S. Compagnon, and J. Taddei, clarinetist C. Giuffredi, trumpeters F. Bosso, F. Boltro, M. Pierobon, and A. Giuffredi, oboist L. Vignali, singers S. Rava and W. Ricci, and have been involved in various projects.

I am involved in artistic activities with ITALIAN SAX ORCHESTRA, JAZZ ART ORCHESTRA, HABANERA PROJECT, JAZZ IN IT’ ORCHESTRA, and various pop music groups, participating in important events such as PAVAROTTI & FRIENDS. I am the conductor of the BRICCIALDI Big Band, featuring soloists such as F. Concato, A. Salis, and others.

He is involved in artistic activities with the ITALIAN SAX ORCHESTRA, JAZZ ART ORCHESTRA, HABANERA PROJECT, JAZZ IN IT’ ORCHESTRA, and various pop music groups, participating in important events such as PAVAROTTI & FRIENDS. He is the director of the BRICCIALDI Big Band, which hosts soloists like F. Concato, A. Salis, and others. He has recorded the DVD of the opera “CACHECHITO RASPADO” by J. Trigos, the album “INTIMOROSAMENTE” by composer Roberta Vacca, published by Rai Trade, and the album “NOW, AND THEN” featuring the music of L. Berio and B. Maderna with the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, released by ECM label. He has also collaborated on numerous albums with artists such as Fabio Armiliato, Hallo Mr Sax, Sonohra, Alexia, Jenny B, In-Grid, Dahny, Eusebio Martinelli, Giardini di Mirò, McEndoz, Gattamolesta, Follon Brown, Banda Rulli Frulli, Welcome Bach Sailors, Diego Vilar, Banda di Quartiere, etc. (Sony, Decca, Home Sleep Record, Labelle, Kayman, Trifonica, Saifam).
